Verdict- State Vs Nanavati is one of the most non-fiction stories of 1959. It is based on real life incident which took place before years due to the doubt of infidelity and envy. K.M Nanavati and his wife had a happy family until Prem Ahuja entered their life. The case is still mysterious as it was forced infidelity or it was just out of pleasure due to absence of Naval Officer during duty hours. This was known to be the most mysterious and difficult crime case in Indian history. It lasted for months before the verdict was declared by the court. The media was on fire due to support of the audience which stood outside the court and declared their verdict before the actual verdict was presented in the system. The jury announced Nanavati non-guilty due to some of the presented arguments, which in turn was questioned by higher authorities. It was assumed that the Jury was slightly influenced by the media’s verdict. Later, the Government of India announced to abolish the Jury trials. This was a very big step as well as change in the judiciary system.
The same case is presented here in a bit sensational and glossy way to add the touch of box office. The web series is expected to touch the peak of ‘Rustom’, the movie by Akshay Kumar on same Nanavati Case. The audience would not like to take in anything lesser than that.
